Nutella potato candy
PREP TIME: 30 MINUTES
TOTAL: 1 H 30 MINUTES
1 kg icing sugar
1 white potato
1 cup Nutella
Red or green food coloring (optional)
In a pot, bring water to a boil.
Cut the potato into 4 pieces and cook in boiling water, until soft.
Drain potato and mash until achieving a smooth texture.
Add 10 drops of food coloring and stir.
Place the mashed potato in a large bowl. While stirring, gradually add icing sugar.
Place parchment paper on an oven tray and spread mixture evenly. Flatten the dough using your hands.
Spread Nutella over the dough.
Tightly roll the dough into a log.
Wrap the log in parchment paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Remove parchment paper and cut into small slices.
