Ingredients (10 tortillas)
1 level tsp. (each) salt and baking powder
80 ml canola oil
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup warm water
In a bowl, combine together the dry ingredients: salt, flour and baking powder.
Add the canola oil and warm water. Mix together until the dough is well combined and smooth.
Cover the bowl and let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 10 small balls of the same size.
Heat a skillet on medium.
Roll out one ball of dough using a rolling pin and flour to the shape of a tortilla.
Heat the tortilla in the skillet for about 1 1/2 minutes on one side or until bubbles begin to form. Turn the tortilla over and cook for another minute on the second side. Remove from skillet and set aside in a plate.
Repeat the above steps with each ball of dough.
