Steam cooking

These days, steam ovens are no longer under debate over whether they are a trend that will eventually disappear or not. Whether it is because we get the most out of vegetables as the nutrients are better retained and the cooking comes out perfect every time or that tastes and smells are not transferred from one food to the next, despite the fact that they are cooking at the same time, the industry is unanimous in touting the advantages of steam cooking! Yes, you read that right!  You can cook salmon and crème brûlée at the same time!

More than just steam

Many manufacturers combine other functions such as convection coils and fans to make their product even more versatile and functional.

Previously only offered with built-in appliances, there are now other models on the market, specifically the Panasonic 4-in-1 counter oven (NNCS896S).

Given all these benefits and technological developments, there is no doubt that steam cooking appliances are here to stay!
